Look classy in summer

Look what I've got for you, today:

An amazingly sexy looking suit by moscod. Now what makes this look so sleek is A) its rather slim cut that makes you look a lot taller and more handsome and B) that subtle glow on the textile which emits luxury and self-confidence. To make it short: this suit will boost your looks to skyscraper level.

You can wear this suit to work, but I can also imagine it being worn to a summer wedding or party. Or: just wear one of the two pieces at a time. For example wearing the jacket in combination with a white pants and blue/white striped t-shirt. Or wearing the pants together with a plaid shirt and cardigan.

Hands down: this is a beautiful suit. So why not getting it over at yesstyle? I certainly will.

Blazer, around $140
Dress pants, around $75 - both by moscod

Now if you think about it - you won't get a cheap suit for less than $180. And most of them look ... well, cheap. But here you get a suit in a great color, with a great modern cut and with that perfect little shine. For just about $200. Great deal!

The boyfriend look.

Here comes yet another summer item. The good thing about summer items is: in combination with other pieces you can wear them all year around - for example, adding a cardigan to a nice summer t-shirt makes it winter-friendly. It's that simple. There's even a relatively new trend of making shorts wearable in winter by adding leggings to protect your legs against frosty breezes. As awkward as this may sound at first, it actualy looks pretty good (especially with nordic patterned leggings). Anyway, this doesn't really has anything to do with todays item: a shirt which comes in a very unique cut.

So this shirt is a little wider than usual, see? Which not only makes it a favorite summer item, as it leaves enough space between your skin and the textile to allow good circulation of air, but also gives off a very relaxed, dreamy and still masculine vibe. I guess every girl will feel protected by a guy wearing this shirt.

Here a little closer: the shoulder-size has been generously extended to create this "two sizes too large" look.

Also comes in soft blue and green, but my favorite is the white one - a classic.

Pop the corks - it's summer!

It's summer already! Vacation, hot days, colors, smells ... life's at its height. Time to go out and experience something - like beach or garden parties with your friends. Now is there a good party without some nice prickling refreshments? I bet there is, the world is big, after all. But still, you might wanna check out the following 3 aperitif I'm going to serve you. Cheers!

 Lemon Drop Martini
  • 1 1/2 oz Vodka
  • 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Sugar Syrup
  • 1 Lemon Twist (garnish)

A fresh cocktail and a fresh outfit! Even the t-shirt speaks a citric language and adds a complementary contrast. Due to the lack of scarfs in the guy's department of yesstyle, I poked around in their girl's section and discovered a pretty nice unisex scarf in my desired color. You can take this as a general recommendation: most scarfs are rather neutral when it comes to defining them as guy's or girl's garments. So you can easily buy one that was originaly made to comfort women's necks, if it has a color, design or cut you really like. I would say, the more flowers, lace and frill, the harder it is to pull it of as a masculine item. But that also depends on your general style and the rest of your outfit. Nobody will notice, though, if you choose a pretty simple one. Furthermore, girl's scarfs are usually a lot cheaper than their male counterpart. So take this into account.

  • 12 Mint Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice

Minty greens and harmonizing navy blues - the basis of this cocktail-inspired outfit. Doesn't it already cool you down by just looking at it?

Blueberry Basil
  • 1.5 oz Rum
  • 1 tbsp Raw Sugar
  • 12-16 Blueberries

  • 4 Mint Leaves
  • ½ Lime
  • Top Soda Water
Sweet-aromatic, but still cools your palate and gives you a nice chill. Blueberry basil cocktail. Dark blues and petrol colors dominate this outfit.

Wow, high proof! But remember - don't drink too much and don't drink and drive. As for me - I treat cocktails with respect and never have more than two glasses. I like the intoxicating effect of being buzzed, but anything after that just kills it for me.

Now enjoy your drinks!
